Hope Elem needs percussion teacher

Carlsbad Unified School District at Hope Elementary needs an Instrumental Artist in Residence for 2010-2011
Every Wed from 8-10 am (actual class 8:15-9:40)

Snare and mallet instrument (optional) class instructor for ten 5th grade beginning students. May need a brass coach as well (will know in August) for up to fifteen 5th grade beginning students on trumpet and trombone. Pay-$50 per week for 31 weeks. 2 concerts in March and May 2011. You will be required to fill out a district application, be fingerprinted and have a current negative TB test result.

Hi Sharon, I am looking for teaching opportunities in the San Diego neighborhood. I have over twenty five years teaching and playing experience and former Navy Band percussionist. My concerns would be the drive in the morning, I'm all the way down in Clairemont! Thanks and let's talk soon, Billy
